I wish I could pick a less than one…

I wish I could pick a less than one star option. Unfortunately I attended an Aveda school for a month and it was the worst experience of my life. All this place cares about is taking your money. AWFUL staff, awful teachers, even the students were mean and this “establishment” totally allows bullying. I hope Aveda goes out of business as soon as possible. I could not have worse things to say about this place. And the products absolutely suck.

This company just gets worse and worse

This company just gets worse and worse, seemingly by the quarter. From their sad, outdated website design (complete with a dizzying number of pop-ups from the time you land on their homepage, throughout the site, and yes- even during order checkout), to the way they force customers to accept tiny product samples that they never asked for or wanted (which just pile up, unused, and create even more waste!), to the unqualified, unlicensed, sometimes unprofessional behaving stylists at their salons, to the apathetic "support" you'll receive from any of their employees, to their fake points program, this company is a solid model for how to lose loyal customers and scare away new ones.
They are not environmentally conscienious as they claim to be either, unfortunately they rely on slave labor and lax pollution regulations in other countries, and none of the packaging is recyclable or reusable.
They simply do not care about anything more than fattening the pockets of the lazy, entitled people at the top of the organization.

Aveda Tulsara

Aveda Tulasara:
Thank you Aveda, I have used this product and it has helped clear off my mark. I got a black mark doing some unwanted things to my face :) and Aveda tulasara helped get it off completely. I am happy with this gentle cleansing face mask.

Stay away from AVEDA hair products

I spent a lot of money of AVEDA shampoo and conditioner after I dyed my hair in one of AVEDA salons. I had a horrible skin reaction after one month of using the products. My hair got damaged and dry, I got dandruff type flaking of my scalp (I never had dandruff in my life before), just horrible. Went to a dermatologist who said she had several patients with the same experience after switching to AVEDA products. I stopped using AVEDA products, and started using anti-dandruff shampoo intermittently with my earlier hair products, and it took over 3 months to get back to (almost) normal. STAY AWAY FROM AVEDA PRODUCTS!!!!!! The way how they push their products on you through their salons is unacceptable. Will never go there again.

I would expect more from them

I love Aveda products, and their website is pretty, but their online shopping experience is a freaking labryinth that you need a PhD to navigate. You'd think that a "grown up" company like Aveda would have fixed at least some of this, but they do not seem inclined to improve in the years I've been shopping with them. Two small examples of where their website sucks: 1) Too many product categories! It took me 30 min of concentrated searching to find hand cream - is it in skin care? is it in body care? oh, look, there's a totally separate category for hand and foot care! Why? Does a hand not have skin? Is it not part of my body? Ahhhh. 2) Login area is totally separate from checkout area. In order to get points credit for your order, you have to know to log in before you check out, but it is this hinky little piece of the checkout process that is not required and you are not reminded. Once you log in, you are navigated away from the checkout area to the rewards page, and have to navigate back. Makes NO sense.

Terrible Customer Service and Terrible Product!

I tried to make a return after their shampoo and conditioner ruined my hair. I used to have hair that could go a couple days without washing and still look and feel heathy. After using their product my hair has not been the same! Its been months.
I attempted to make a return and In store and online customer service told me completely different things! The in store employees were very rude and unhelpful. I have reached out multiple times for online customer service and have sent emails and have not heard back and it has been over a month! If you purchase their product don't expect to reach a customer service representative any time soon.

ACK!!! Unreal - I give up with Aveda

Final straw getting any customer service from Aveda. I have wasted SO much of my time trying to fix an online order where I accidentally input wrong CC expiry. The order contained a bonus I really wanted so I couldn't just go in and redo it as the bonus was no longer in effect. They have customer service reps with zero training or desire to help. I am done with Aveda...
A company not paying attention to online customers is making a big mistake.

Every review about Customer Service or…

Every review about Customer Service or more to the point lack of it, is spot on. The company needs a total overhaul. Using Covid as an excuse for the shoddy way they do business Is despicable. Their arrogant persona (like there doing us a favour) leads me to make the decision to no longer give Aveda any of my business including both products and services. Anyone know of another company that would like my business?

ZERO Customer Service.

It is pretty bad when you are trying to buy a $140 bottle of shampoo and you CANNOT get customer service at Aveda Canada to respond to email or to answer a call. I tried for two weeks after I incorrectly input my credit card expiry date and have finally given up. The telephone call back never calls you back and emails to customer service are not responded to.
I really feel ticked about this total lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE from a company that charges a premium for its products. Its Time to find a new favourite. Have used Aveda since I was 20 - am 56 now and will never order again.

This is HORRIBLE

This is HORRIBLE! My bangs were just fine when you and my mom sided up against me and cut my bangs slanted. And there was a huge chunk of "Bang" left. I had to go get a haircut again....

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

I am VERY dissappointed about your customer service. I sent 5 emails, some of them a week ago. I called 3 times, was in the waiting line for over 25 minutes and then someone just hung up on me! What is this? I have been a lifelong customer and now when a product was already open and spilled all over my box and I need a replacement or at least help nobody seems to be responsible? Never again will I buy here, this is the worst customer service i have experienced in my life.
